Héhé, when I saw you talking about helmet tutorial, I was sure you'd be talking about Cyril. I'm afraid he doesn't paint much those last times...

Linky on his site, enjoy :

Merci!

I had no idea he had a website. His style is among my favourite. I will definitely be doing up my Khan using his tutorial.

The left one got a black undercoat and the right one got a white. I'll be sticking with white since there's no real difference, other than hours spent on painting.

Its awesome to see someone actually doing a true WS army and not yet another "count as" with some bizzare paint scheme. "Yes I'm doing a count as WS army but I'll be using purple with orange highlights. And they'll be known as the Space Meat Machines..." or some non-sense. :D

You've got the scheme down So i have no comments to really make there. The only comment I have is to maybe say that to help offset the pewter shoulder pad proportion to the plastic is to do a quick plastic add-on and bulk up the pad armor a bit to make it more modern. I did this with alot of my DA pewter shoulder pads as well.

One example (its the plasma cannon shoulder pad in question):

Now, for me its a few here and there. And I used a Dremel spin tool to round the edges of the plastic very quickly and drill/shape the plastic out of the upper arm attachment area of the pad. To do a whole army would take some effort, depending on what you'd like to see and spend time on. -_-

Great job thus far!

Well it's nice to see someone else that tries to make mk6 corvus amour right and complete.

I've got a white-scar based army but they're dark red. I find it annoying that they only made one plastic mk6 chestplate. And that's covered in wolf runes.

I really like the beakie mairne with the scimitar. It's very dramatically posed.
