Starks333 Posted August 14, 2008 Author Share Posted August 14, 2008 http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/Starks3333/40k/warseer%20log/100_5263.jpg i can never get good pics when its dark outside, and the camera is a bit low on battery too i think..grrr know what...im just gonna finish a couple units i have half done and unload the rest...the blue isnt the same as the original like i wanted because GW seems to change the hue of their paints routinely this army thing isnt what i want to be doing, as quite clearly people can see by my lack of interest and progress my lack of interest is beginning to show on the models, so instead of spending time for nothing ill cut the dying, and move onto something more interesting I do have some crimson fists you guys wil get to see me actually spend time on and care about, which will involve me actually converting and getting good pics since its not army, its squad sorry for the continuous disappointment, however its somethign i thik has to be done and will show as the work that follows will be something worthy of actually watching for :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Starks333 Posted November 2, 2008 Author Share Posted November 2, 2008 haha ya the U symbol will be filled in and maybe turned into a fist...those guys were on hold for ages cuz the warstore order got stuck at the border or something so took like a month+ to get here! as for the "pink" well its purple a robe highlighted up, its actually more of a purple than a pink, but the photos show a bit more redish in it...as for the sword its also purple (beaten purple mixed with some red gore) and highlighted up with a more whiteish colour, so the brighter spots will be pinkish ya....and the books...well its a beige paper but purpley shading...that i dont really have an explanation for :) after repainting that model about 4 times over the years quite frankly ive had enough hahahaha so i guess this is the end of this log...the converted marines will jump over to another log i have where im doing multiple conversions and such and basicly my "sculpting" log....once i finish painting a couple other pieces I will be able to return to sculpting with no more interferences!! @metcalfden...i cant even remember what made me start fists i think it was cuz i love the colour blue and i needed a new scheme after deciding to change the army from space wolves to regular marines :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
