Stryker25B Posted December 15, 2009 Share Posted December 15, 2009 I love the direction you are going with this army, from the conversions on the characters to the "mistakes" on the titan. Having never actually seen a titan before except for looking longingly at the pics in FW, I would never have guessed that the shoulder guards were rotated 90 degrees. They look great just as they are! The reversed front/back toes issue does stand out a little more, mostly because of the angle of the top of the toe as compared to the piece right above it, but when it comes right down to it, I think your reaver with squish an Ork just as easily regardless of toe placement. i can't wait to see that titan painted, but it's also fun watching your progress on the game board. I definitely know what it's like to have multiple projects going at once! The upside is that it's harder to get burned out if you rotate through a few things. Thanks :no: The shoulders are not fixed, yet. But I might keep them this way. I don't know, it looks cool too. But I still can't see which toe is wrong. Can anyone paint me a picture? The front toes are right I think. According to my manual they've got the correct number with corresponding placement, if that means anyting because the numbers were carved by hand ^_^. Maybe the angle of my photo is bad or I'm so in love with the Titan, I can't find the error, even if I compare it to the FW pictures. Heeellp! The picture is a little too good :confused: the contrasts aren't as sharp as it looks on the picture. I don't know, if the tank looks better on the photo. It's a little too yellow. I'm still working on how to weather silver-metal and use pigments without making it look weird. While it was still fresh, I've sprinkled a little basing snow over it. But you could use it in layers too. Make a layer covering everything, maybe add zum blue ink, so the ice looks deep.
