I didnt have too many problems putting the LRC together other than stabbing my thumb with the hobby knife and a few mistakes i made due to my hastiness to have it assembled last night.

 

I didnt even know a plastic one was coming, might persuade me to get a second lol.

Small Update

 

Had some out of town family visiting but since they have gone Ive been able to mess around with a few things. Didnt get as much work done as I wanted but its coming along.

 

First up is a new marshal, need to hit it again with primer after some issues.

heres some members of alpha squad. I assembled them using Khorne beserker legs, backs and some chain weapons and bolt pistols.

I also started on the LRC but only got as far as getting all the metal pieces basecoated and I

should be getting my FW storm shields in the mail here in the next few days so some assault termies will be up here soon.

Had my first game of 5th ed (and my first game of 40k in over two years) last friday wich was a smashing success if I might add. Also got some more work done on some various minis and received 10 more termies in the mail. But enough jibba jab, on to the pics

 

The army is starting to look very cohesive now that its almost done.

Here you can see some of the work ive done on the LRC. About 60% done I would say. Need to clean some lines, finish some things and highlight it still.

I got two heavy weapons in the mail yesterday so heres where they sit as of last night. Theyll give me some variety to my squads.

WOW after a long hiatus (iE home computer being down) and I still dont have internet i was able to get a crappy pic of my marshal uploaded so finally heres an update thats long overdue

Only needs some highlighting and basing and hes done. Along with him ive painted a dreadnaught, got some more marines and some more work on my crusader. My chaos and Salamanders army as well as my FOW have been taking up alot of my time so updates on these guys are sporadic at best. I will try to get some more pics next week.
