I tried to do this as a blog and a vlog but unfortunately I dont have time to paint regularly enough, so I'm just going to post them up whenever I get a new thing done.

First up is the tactical squad I got yesterday, I spent last night putting them together and have painted one, two more are sprayed and ready to get painted and seven moree are awaiting my order of tactical marking moulded shoulder pads so I can Spray them.

lol, yh theres too much of it origionally it was meant to be sprayed black and drybrushed red to look like cool, red-black gras, but it didn't all go black when I sprayed the model and im rubbish at basing so i just gave up :P

a veteran sargant could carry a bolter and a bolt pistol if he so wished.

I like them, but you could realy improve them by removing mold lines, and drill out the barrels. A scalpel could do both jobs.

overall theyy are very nice :P

As posted above, I'd remove moud lines, barrels are your choice, I do it for characters but not rank and file.

As for the bases, do them last.

And dont use as much static grass.

When doing them apply a coat of PVA (elmers glue) to the base (not too think) then puck up the grass between your forefinger and thumb and sprinkle it onto the base until you have the glue covered... then hold the model upside down over a pot or other suitable container and tap the base until all the loose grass has come off. This will give you as base that doesn't have too much static grass plus what there is will for the most part be standing up!
