Angels_Blade
I cannot beleive how quickly this army is coming together! I sat down today to watch the F1 and thought ' It's gonna be dull this race, i wonder if i can paint a chaplain in the time it takes to finish?' Three and a half hours later and bam. Here he is! Again everything is table top quality so be gentle! http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7140013.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7140014.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7140015.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7140016.jpg C&C appreciated cheers AB
taLLis
you were right the F1 was boring today! lol Still, good job here dude, nice scroll work. Only thing i would say is the highlighting on the foot and left knee pad is slightly harsh.
Imhotep
Nice. I like the shoulder pads especially. As for the harsh highlighting, I suspect it looks lot better from 3 feet away. One problem with taking photos of minis is that it tends to exagerate 'flaws'.
taLLis
yea i agree with that.
Mal
nice, you got a real T2000 look going on there
Isiah
Well the Chaplain is excellent Angels_Blade. Part of an army you say – so you're giving up on the DA? And BTW, the F1 wasn't boring, far from it, with it's surprise winner. Cheers I
Scar Weaver
One problem with taking photos of minis is that it tends to exagerate 'flaws'. Ugh, indeed. Painting metallics well isn't always the easiest thing. Your's look great.
Kurasuke
Man, my friend was gonna watch that race and woke us up when he was doing it, the dick. Anyway- this is a good mini, especially impressive for 3.5 hours.
Angels_Blade
Thanks for the responses guys, a little dissappointed with only 6 but hey i'll take it! I have not lost my way Isiah, just want some of the new marine stuff that were not allowed in our dex!!
scruff
That's a nice model, well done. Like the chains hanging from the belt although the highlights are a bit sharp for my tastes but as has been said I guess that could be the camera at work in part. Kurasuke
Oh- didn't mention this earlier but there appears to be a mold line on the powerfist.
MmmmmFlamed'Nid
I hate that mold line coming up to the thumb, I never get it!
Heru
I was under the impression that the Steel Scorpions didn't use standardised names like Cornelius.

Medwayman
Nice, unadorned, bare skull helmet. Reminds me of Destro from GIJoe.

I agree. That aint a good way to go about things really. Taking the best bits that you like from someone elses DIY and then not respecting their time and effort with the background work is wrong IMHO. "Inspired by" or not... :D
Heru
Why? I meant no offence It's known as Chapter hijacking. Whether you meant offence by it or not doesn't matter. As the impression of the majority (due to you being an excellently skilled painter with multiple Steel Scorpion threads already) will be that the Steel Scorpions are your original creation (despite the fact you credited the author with "inspired" in your first thread). Simply because your interpretation outshines that of the original author (not because his interpretation is bad, but instead because you have more "air time" as it were). Kushan Blackrazor
Perhaps instead of just chasting him you could provide him with a method to correct any misunderstandings related to the usage of the Chapter in question? Just trying to be constructive... :)
