Im slowly getting the models together to start my SW army, so i thought id do a test model for you all to rip to pieces lol.

Basically i like the pale blue/grey armours as opposed to the dark grey/blue, so with that in mind i thought id try GW Spacewolfgrey as a start!

Just so you know the army is gonna be tabletop quality so i can get gaming as soon as so im trying a fast approach to the paint scheme.

He is shaded with GW Blue wash, what do you guys think? is he too light? which colours would you recomend using GW or otherwise?

im open to all sugestions and comments

cheers

sorry should have said about the hair oops!, i have got an idea about doing a glacier base for them with some snow.

im possibly gonna do weathering on the armor to darken the model a bit also.

i feel its a little too bright highlights wont really show up on them.

what do you think?

awesomly neat

abit too bright, but that might be a combinatuion of the flash, the background and the dark base

a lighter flesh colour would suit better IMHO, especially for a snowy area...

apart from those minor points it looks ace

how'd you do it?

very light white spray undercoat,

astronomican grey watered down as basecoat,

2-3 coats of watered down spacewolf grey,

then washed and lined with blue GW wash.

any ideas on what colour to use thats a bit darker blue/grey?
