Azadul Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 Well, if any of you remember, i posted a list, and asked for some tactical advice for my chaos space marines. The tournament itself was a great event, with 30 competitors coming from all around the south island of New Zealand. There was a great variety, space marines (loyalist scum) however where the only armies that were not very well represented, only 2 space wolf armies if i recall correctly. There was also an abundance of chaos space marine armies, and daemons. Fully a third of the competitors showing up with these armies. Not to worry though because every single one was greatly themed. No cheese lash and plague marines. I think that of all of the players i was the only one with undivided chaos. This proved to work well, I won 5 of 5 games and from a possible total of 100 points being a perfect score of the weekend, i scored and very high 85 to win the tournament! :o Why a :o do you say? Well considering i am only 16 this is not an easy feat. Anyway back to the scoring. A perfect game was a 20, 10 for a win, 2 for Highest point hq still alive. And a possible of 4 for sportsmanship, and 4 for army comp. This really was a great tournament, thanks to the organisers. I'm a few years older than you, but have only recently managed to get 15th/26 in a local tournament (in a previous tourny I was joint bottom 3rd :D). Oh, and yes it is possible for the justicar to have artificer armour, i checked. It was still a great tourney though. Real great fun! If you think that the witch hunter army was weird, it was really a massively themed army. It was called the Adeptus Arbites. Using the enforcers from the necromunda range. It was really fun play. I think what jeske means, is that those aren't terribly competitive lists, especially the space wolf one, thats an instruction manual on how to lose the game with wolves, that list is. The Greyknight list seems to be the most "competitive" (with the exception of your list). Then again I know nothing about IG Congrats on the win, not trying to take anything away from your victory at all, just wow, those were some weak lists =P (yours by the way was good, naturally =) ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
