Some of you may have seen these guys from my sculpty thread in WIP forum.

Well they're finally painted now.

The pink marines carry the icon of slaanesh in game. The purple/blue guys are full noise marines.

On to the images.

Hope you enjoy them. I've left the backpacks metal for the moment. I think when I've fully painted the army I'll put some of the main body colour onto the backpacks too. I haven't done it yet because painting backpacks is such a chore I'd rather do the whole lot in one go.

Thanks for the comments guys. Glad you liked them.

Liltom, I hope your goat is not in any way traumatised.

Alexos- basecoat of shadow grey mixed with space wolf grey. Wash with Asurman blue (or whatever its called). I normally do this in 2 coats, one lighter coat over the whole area then a deeper coat centred around the more recessed areas. Then reapply the basecoat as a highlight. I then add spacewolf grey blending up to pure space wolf grey. Next is a glaze of purple ink followed by more highlights adding white to space wolf grey right up to pure white. I'll very selectively glaze with more purple at this stage if I feel the model has become too colourless. Its important to keep it subtle though.

The darker areas are just black. Highlights are done by adding vallejo sick blue and after the first highlight adding space wolf grey, increasing the quantity each time. Finish with a glaze of blue ink.

Very nice conversion work, it's always heartening to see time and effort put into making chaos looking even cooler than they already are coming out of the box.

But I'm most impressed with the blending in your paintjobs, very well done, especially the pink--->grey on the possessed(?). Although the purple--->white on the sonic weapon armed marines is ace as well.

Edit - Ooh and an old-skool bolter too, sweet!

Very well done! :HQ:

Yep. I forgot to do it. Again. I should of course drill them out when assembling but I often forget. But thats not a problem because you can actually drill them out really easily even after the model is painted and just touch up the paint job. But I forgot that too. When I post a picture of the squad the bolters will be drilled out.

Ehr... first of all, congratulations. Probably the best noise marines I've ever seen.

Would it be too much to ask the recipe for the pink colour scheme as well? (the one of the champion).

Lookin' forward to see the whole squad one day...

11 out of 10 :D

The coolest, most beautiful and characterful noise marines I have ever seen. Fantastic little conversions, they really fit in with the sleek imagery of the NMs.

Not to mention the paintjobs.
