You are insane. Massively talented and skilled of course, but clinically insane. :)

I don't know which is my favourite, it has to be either the Chaplain or the Grey Knight, probably the latter just shades it as I've never seen the like before.

The Greyknight titan baffles me.

Is there any mention of such a construct in any canon fluff, or is it just an editorial of the builder trying to fill a whole already presumably filled by the enigmatic 'Psy-titans'?

Nothing so complicated m8, just the imagination of a scratch-builder not limited to rules and regulations. If it looks cool and makes a few of the rivet counters out there spit their cornflakes back up then its always a double bonus ;)

have been in this hobby over 20 years, still amazes me how many people can forget the golden #1 rule, don't take things too seriously. Hobbies are supposed to be fun!

Or as the guys at forgeworld put it in a recent email to me

'You seemed to have fully embraced the ethos of 'he who dies with the most toys wins!'. By the looks of your website you're winning!
LOL

Life without rules? Good grief man, how do you go on! ;)

It's cool looking, I'll give you that, but these are the kinds of things that form the stuff of knightmares wherein the get naturalised into the setting by someone not familiar with what they're working with.

If you'll excuse me, now that I've satisfied my own paranoia that I haven't missed something, I have a starched shirt and tie to put on. ;)

I actually saw this Titan, and the Inquisition Titan at Games Day! I took quite a few photos I can tell you! I only wish I had time to create such fantastic peices for gaming!

I actually spoke with the creator of the magnificent machine, and what also amazed me was the effort of true scale being put in, by using Servitors on the Gantries, and even right underneath the shoulders, where they could be missed by the lesser observant eye.

Even now, seeing it again here on B&C I'm impressed, but it's one of those items, you really have to view up close, so I was pleased to see it at Games Day! ;)

there were psi-titans referenced in the eye of terror book.

these could conceivably be linked to or stylized after the grey knights.

LOL, now I understand where you are coming from Eddie, don't get too paranoid, I dont intend to build a whole army of these and distribute them freely among your enemies just yet, or do I? HAve I already done it? What's that, behind you! :D

Was nice to talk with some of you chaps down at games day, been a long time since I was down there, probably about 12 years and I was dressed as a Terminator!

I have some mental images of what I am going to be doing with Odin next year, involving a corvus assault pod a palace wall and plenty of assault troops, intigrate him into the battlefield a little more...watch this space...hopefully if I dont get side-tracked!

From what I've read, Titan Transports for engines that large are not dimentionally much bigger than the titans them selves. Maybe some kind of Macro Drop Pod for the Warhounds is in order, deploy from orbit and deep strike onto the field.

Neat, but I was thinking more, erm, Battle Fleet Gothic-esq. An interstellar landing craft capable of launching the Drop Pods. ;)

Making it stay up on a flying stand might be an issue, but it's probably nothing a modeler of your abilities can't handle.

Ive been in this hobby as long as you have and remember being impressed by the Armour Cast Titans.

Im in awe. Something only thought of and conceivable in a dream, and you have brought it to life.

From one hobbiest to another, Thanks.

we'll probably never see anything like this on this scale again.

i just realized something after taking another look at this post. i may seem crazy but i'd suggest HEAVILY beefing up the lower portion and torso of the odin. The legs until the torso all seem WAY TOO small and unarmoured. basically it is unproportional and the legs dont look like they'd be able to support the titan.

It's perfectly proportioned to the epic model its based on SoH. remember I originally built the Warlord some 10-15 years ago, right at the beginning of my scratch-building skills. From that point its really been a matter of patching things up and trying not to impeed on the overall integral supporting structure of the model (nothing technical, just couldnt be arsed and too busy for long term projects!). Warlords are more about shock and awe in my book and frankly if your mind wanders onto anything other than weapons that are the size of a palace you should be collecting Eldar ;)

Don't think building something just as big is off the books to be honest but just for now I have got the big stuff out of my system and am enjoying painting the Crimson Ultrawings! Besides, not really much to do in that scale now really, not that I would enjoy anyhow, chaos doesnt rock my boat and I arent really a fan of the Mk3 Titans so my love of Imperial god machines is taken care of for now!

Next big project will probably be to build a corvus assault pod for ODIN and apply it into some sort of palace assault gaming set-up, lots of ideas spinning around the noggin, just a matter of sitting down for 5 minutes and making a start soon as the Crimson's are out of the way :D

Of course there is always a capital ship if I could ever find enough space and gather enough card.........

They're all so amazing! And there are so many! The mighty forge world models which us mere mortals look up to so much look so insignificant in comparison to that monster.

By the way have you captured Boba Fett or do you have your own suit of Mandalorian battle armour? Either comes with a certain amount of respect....

Not that the scale really goes any higher given the amount of titains you have
