MasterofTheImperialPaladins Posted September 17, 2008 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Hey guys, trying 2 get myself to post once in a while in here, but never getting anywhere, Danm, S.T.A.L.K.E.R taking alle my sparetime.. anyhow, a WIP on my new marshall, normaly he'll be runing around in a termi. suite, but am trying some new tactics at the moument. Fluff for my Imperial Paladins is still in the progress. But They ar a sucessor capter of Black templar, from one of the former crusades i Segmentum pacificus. Their doctrins, belifes an chapter symbol remaining the same. But after a campain involving the rescue an defense of a high govornor of the Segmentum Pacificus sector: The crusade fleet where proclaimed Imperial Paladins, after the govornors personal bodyguard which was destroyed under the campain. Swearing an new vow of vigilance as protectors of the Govonor an his ruleling starsystem, changing colours to match that of the govornors former personal guard. Thats the fluff so far, still need to figure out a way for them to get Sigismunds aproval, as it is a major change in vow an all that. Anyhow. Will try to get as much update on this as possible. Here ar the dude btw. based him on the master of the watch as i just love the pose of him. Give me some feedback. nurglespuss Posted September 17, 2008 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Loving the colour scheme :> nice and dark and brooding. I would say, use the smaller shield, as although I prefer the larger, i would obscure too much of a good model. Unless you could reposition the arm, or even bette, have the shield positioned with the hand on the top edge (so the shield is on the ground) I think that would really suit the pose of the model :> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Know it is off topic but I was so suprised how much juicey stuff there is in that game! :lol: They litteraly took alle the bad stuff from the first game, turned it into something cool, took all the cool stuff an made it 10 times more cooler! :P anyhow, got some more stuff lying around, so will try to get some of it finished by 2moro or friday. tnx for the comments guys..! Your colors are fantastic, as a non-black Templar player I enjoy seeing different colors and looks using the Templars upgrade bits. I really like the free hand on the Neo's chaos helm of the Templar cross, very nice work, I never am able to make my cross free hand work out. As u properly notested all of it is half painted.. ^^ I've got around 2k by now, so theres ar still a long way to go. But some of the vehicles, only one fully finished Rhino(out of 3 ^^) an my beloved LRC thats near indestructable with 5th ed. I dont go anywhere without this fella. The pic. should show most of the parts that has been used but give a quick sumeup. Nr.1 is 2 IG powerpacks for the tripod mounted lascannon. the part in the middle is like the back of the same lascannon, just tuned on its head. Nr.2 Barrel from a IG Autocannon. Nr.3 Think it just the rest of the autocannon barrel, not sure.^^ an the red grip is scupled from greenstuff. Nr.4 Again barrel from a IG lascannon(the middlepart, betwean the muzzle an the casing). other than that i found some random part to make up the power connector in the grib, an some metalwire. should be it, hope it made some kind of sense. Picture an details on dread tutorial Oh and the extra joint on the dread fingers, greenstuff as well. ^^ *The_Chaplain* Hmm, as far as i remember it was quite straightforward, simpley swaped the bolters with the lascannons using glue. the lascannons that comes with the kit is placed right up against the side of the sponser, so there is not much room for the bulky boltersponsers. And of cause, drop the ammo boxes, they won't fit. Howcome GW allways ruins it for me.. was loving the BT list, but with alle the new improvements that the new SM got, I cant resist converting 2 the new.. "Thought of the day: excuses are the refuge of the weak" Emperor protects. I have wanted 2 expand my army for a while now, an a friend of my litteraly trew his DA army at me.. an oy joy what a day that was^^, went from a 30 models to allmost 100+ marines with 5 dreads, bikes, predators an a insane amount of spare part.
