Askren Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Honestly, this is the closest thing to a forum that I could find for this post. It's not really fan fiction, or a story at all. What is is, is Warhammer-themed heavy metal. Yeah, you read that right. Basically, I love heavy metal music (Iced Earth ftw), and I love Warhammer. I also happen to be a guitarist, and like to write my own songs every now and again. I may not be good at it (no one has ever really heard anything I've written, so I have no judges =P), but when I get an idea going, somehow I just end up pouring words onto a page that fit together like a song pretty well. So here it is, my first out of hopefully many Warhammer themed songs. It's about who else, but the Space Marines. For each one that falls, a thousand enemies will die, Give their lives for Him on his throne. <-- --> x4 {(They are my Space Marines) *{(And they shall know no fear) *And they shall know no fear ~ Keep in mind, I change things a lot when I write, and some parts will most likely change to fit with the music I have mostly written in my head. Askren Posted September 19, 2008 Author Share Posted September 19, 2008 I have Garageband on my Mac, and a midi cable, so once I get some riffs down, I'll throw together a quick recording. Bear in mind, I am a horrible, horrible singer, so I'll probably mangle the song alltogether. Brother_Kluft Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Dude you should Check out Bolt Thrower, they ARE 40k metal, literally. They had some kind of deal with GW back in the early 90's. Songs include, Warmaster, Dark millennium, world eater... from the album Realms of Chaos. Crappy production, but the riffs are actually pretty heavy.
