Grom the paunch
Hi Guys! Thanks to my wifes new job I'll be moving to the Sumter/Bishopville area of South Carolina. I hope to play with some like minded players "Not Cheesehounds'. I have an Ultramarine army that I've been painting for years "I haven't played much". Where do I go to play/shop? Landmine Marathon
You said you where in the Sumter area? There is a place called Hobbytown USA right near you in Charleston, SC. I myself am based in Beaufort, SC and just recently got into the hobby. But Hobbytown does have sets/paints and also runs games on every Sat at 3pm. I hope this was some help =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147201-south-carolina-usa/#findComment-1887894 Share on other sites

grimlock.11
Hey guys, I know it is about 2 hours away, but corsair comics in myrtle beach has a paint and game day every thursday. I am new to the hobby and they have been super helpful. I haven't been able to attend the weekly get-together yet, but I understand that there is a good cross section of knowledge and experience. Â Good luck! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147201-south-carolina-usa/#findComment-2014623 Share on other sites
Large and Moving Torb
Moved back to the Columbia area and interested to see if there are any groups playing 40K? And if so, which days/nights? I have a fairly large CSM army and am starting a CD army. IK Viper
I'm in the Columbia area and there are several good gameing stores around, Double AA games is a store within Heroes and Dragons, and is a high class gaming store but only stays open till 7PM so if your going to play you need to play on Saturday  Firefly Toys and Games is located in Lexington only a few miles away and stays ope to all hours of the night, best 40k night is thursday, Sundays are also usually pretty good Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147201-south-carolina-usa/#findComment-3193508 Share on other sites
walpurgisnacht
I've moved to Greenville, SC and there is a GW store here as well as a FLGS called Borderlands. Both are great places to get your game on. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147201-south-carolina-usa/#findComment-3789844 Share on other sites
frozenfoods
Myrtle Beach area - Corsair Comics is now X-Con Comics, and we still play/paint every Thursday. Right now we have a few people, and a solid range of armies (Eldar, Guard, Guard, Wolves, Tau, Salamanders, Dark Eldar) and at least two of us are starting 30k armies too. Feel free to stop by if you're in the area! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147201-south-carolina-usa/#findComment-3816161 Share on other sites

I know Firefly Games does tournaments once a month, but what about casual games? IK Viper, you still playing in Columbia?
