Antman677 Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Hi all, the topic pretty much says it all... im building a pre-heresy deathwing army and i am using the chaos termies as base minis. i took off the chaos stars but now im wondering if i should take off all the arrows too? some say that the arrows are chaos and others say that they are from the pre-heresy era. I looked in the horus heresy artbook and some marines have arrows but they were usually word bearers...so yeah im leaning towards them being chaos...but i wanted to check in with you guys... anyone can help me out here? Arrows may be pre-heresy, but at the end of the day you want pre-heresy Dark Angels, so you'll want to model them with loads of DA specific iconography, I'd have thought Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mal Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Yes, 3 lightning bolts on the greaves starting mid front point by the foot and spreading up and out, also lightning bolts on chest plate and shoulder guard make up Mk1 Thunder Armour. Although by the time the heresy came around they were pretty much out of commision as even by Mk3 standards they were next to useless.
