Oh cool, with you now! For some reason I thought it was pre-Heresy...I did think he looked abit ill to be still loyal though.

Still stoked on this guy and your work - can't wait to see the finished model! It is gonna be so much cooler now that he is Chaotic, 'cause being bad is way more fun!

legs are looking damn good, I trust you'll clean up some of the edges, I dig the feel of some of em being that rough though, gives a real beaten down worn look. Consider your plague censor idea officially stolen. Mwahaha. Push the torso forward, he's looking a little like magnus leaning back like that, especially if you put that outstretched hand on him too. *sigh*

I woudlnt mind doin a prehersey Mortarion, but not one has wanted one yet. Its usually the Deamon Prince Form so they can use it in their army.

He does look fat til I bulk up the arms and add the tattered clothe on top of his chest piece.

Thanks for all the C@C

I have been assessing these pictures compared to angron, mortarion is gigantic. I also feel, whats the deal with his legs, the proportions seem off, it may just be the life drawing but still the leg seems too short (seeing as the thigh is seperate from the leg...) it goes knee pad then what, a little less then half of an inch then foot? But it may also bee the giant DG symbol on the belt that fools the eye. Check it son, the right leg seems to have dissapeared in that cloak from these photo's, may just be me but that leg needs to be brought out, some defintion would be nice. Also, torso seems to be a bit large dude. critical eyes help right? haha happy halloween. Black Out brewing just pulled the bitter chocolate oatmeal imperial off the oven and straight into the carboy's.

His angron is top secret cuz its to lazy to take pictures.

Updates I did a lil rough up to show the armor as it hard to see under the tattered clothe. Since mortarion has ornate amor compared to other marines His chest piece also looks different it has to levels to it rather then the standard marine one. He will also have some deathguard iconography on his chest so it doenst look plaine But i have to do things one at a time.

I very bottom leg armor is a little smaller after i came to to conclusion from this so once I get him alomost done ill widen that, other then that the proportions seem to be on.

Thanks for all the compliments. and C@C

K, that picture puts it into proportion a bit better, I guess the massive bling buckle just thre my eye off. I think that you could shave off that kneepad, extend the armour up a bit on the leg and then redo the knee pad, since there all that bling etc.. its kind of hard to tell where the hips are anyways so I dont think it would bring it out of wack at all. Then maybe attach some chains to the top of that belt buckle thing a ma jig and make it hanging from his belt, I think it'd put it into proportion really well.
