Have followed Synapse's tutorial for making pre-heresy/heresy style WE which are currently WIP for a BfTA diorama that i am currently making. Have built the legs and torso's which i am quite proud of so far! These two sketches are the two poses so far that i am trying to aim for. The top one is gonna be a WE charging towards a WB though i am not very good at drawing so it doesn't really look like either of the two are running/charging! The second sketch is of Skraal (how can you not take to this guy???!!!!!) when he was charging a hail of bolt rounds after Antiges was downed. Not the best drawer in the world but at least you can see what i am aiming for. I will have access to a camera this weekend so i will upload what i have done so far! The pictures are very light so it is difficult to see what is there but i kinda get the idea! Pictures will be up this weekend though i will try and get some up tomorrow night! Although my GS skills are basic, i am quite pleased how they have turned out so far thanks to Synape's tutorial! Dorns Padawan Posted October 5, 2008 Author Share Posted October 5, 2008 OK then here is my WIP so far as i have run out of GS!!! Pay day this week so i will be able to continue. My GS work is very ropey though overall i am quite impressed with how it has come out so far though i think i need to get the proportions the same on both legs?! Been following Synape's tutorial and am at the bulking out stage on the chest til i ran out of GS! Still need to add the final layer yet and also need to finish off the legs. Have aquired four Maximus type helmets so they will look the shizzles (he says...) once they are completed. Have ordered some Termie legs so when my GS skills improve i can really make myself a decent little unit. These guys as they are my first attempt will probably be Word Bearers and my new Termie legs will be put into a charging pose and will be the World Eaters.
