(Also, anyone else find that when you take digital photos all those flash lines u forgot to clean off show up like flashing lights. This is my chapter master. I need some advice as to what kind of helmet to use. I have a terminator helmet from FW Culln model plus a large variety of others. Just not sure what to go with. I defo want a helmet. nurglespuss Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Some great sculpting going on there! wow! Is it all hand done, or are the eagles from molds? Either way looks gread. Especialy like the sarg. As for 'ex'-Marneus, I would say the best head to use on that model is a helmetless head, as that big collar is designed to focus your eyes on the head area. I've seen a few different ones with terminator heads, cut down grey knight stylee heads and the company chap head, and to me none looked right. I would say, get chronus, and use his bare head, its a good one, or sicarius (and I'll beg you for his helmet :lol: ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The_Chaplain Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 i've never been a fan of the "stock" terminator helmets, they look too fat to be able to move your head in. Imo, take a look at some of the Iron Warrior heads-- with some de chaosification (read, snipping off the silly horns and spiky bits) they look rather antiquated-- which is perfect for really old ornate armor. Rottimus Posted October 2, 2008 Author Share Posted October 2, 2008 Some of it is from Molds. The tiny scorpion on his chest plate is from a mold. It's impossible to get it right without one. As for helmets I was thinkin Iron warriors helmets... imho I think i non helmeted head doesnt look menacing enough unless I use the one with the half bionic head from the tactical squad.
