Brother iKon
What am I missing? Page 71 Skimmers "A skimmer that is also fast and is moving flat out can move 24"" Why? is this a whole rule on it's own? or are skimmers always considered to be on a road? should this mean that fast skimmers can move an extra 6" at cruising speed?(even though pg 57 regarding roads specifically excludes skimmers and walkers) Combat speed upto 6" Cruising speed 6-12" Flat out 12-24" or Combat speed upto 6" Cruising speed 6-18"(with an extra 6" for cruising) Flat out 18-24"
Brother Captain Matthias
No- It's just that as skimmers are by definition "skimming" ;) they don't have to watch out for terrain in the same way as a "fast" ground vehicle. Ground fast vehicles don't move 24" when flat out, the move 18", I think, I don't have the rules book with me right now. Ground vehicles (fast ones anyways) CAN move the 24" when on road. Skimmers do not have any more cruising speed. EDIT: And arn't affected by roads.
Mordekiem
Combat speed upto 6" Cruising speed 6-12" Flat out 12-24" This is correct movement for fast skimmers.
