Hammer
Hullo! I've been away from B&C for a long time because I have been working on non-power armour stuff or even non-GW stuff, but now I have returned to the fold and have started working on a Space Wolf army. Since the codex is about an year away still, I figured I won't worry about the possible changes to the army but just use the old wolf codex with the just published marine codex. Here's my first Grey Hunter models (the middle fig is just a size reference). I am currently painting the first GH pack, so more pics coming up soon. http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/102703456/large.jpg http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/102703462/large.jpg http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/102703483/large.jpg http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/103893030/large.jpg http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/103941751/large.jpg http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/103836971/large.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148095-wolves-of-the-space/ Share on other sites

Hammer
Posted this in Dakka, might as well update my thread here too... After a few months break from the wolves, I'm back. I started working on various additions to my wolf force... Wolf Lord in terminator armour. Will have lightning claws when finished. I just had to give him the standard "stand head taller than the rest of the guys, begging for lascannon shot" pose. http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/110088172/large.jpg Wolf guard terminators, to accompany the Wolf Lord in battle. You'll propably notice the Forge World bodies. The FW stuff was just too good to pass. If you wonder the amount of green stuff, that just comes with the need to cover the biggerising scars. http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/110088174/large.jpg You might remember my biggerised squad of ultramarines? I decided to turn them into Space Wolves to get another Grey Hunter Pack with as little work as possible. Here's a pair of ex-Ultramarines with wolf bits added, now needing a re-paint to wolfy colors. http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/110088175/large.jpg Here's my Dognaught, still very WIP, but coming along. I saw the four legged dreadnought conversion somewhere (I think it was at Dakka) and liked it a lot. Now that I needed a striking Venerable Dreadnought for my Woofs, the memory of the conversion came back to me and I knew I just had to try it myself too. Thus the Dognought was born. http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/110088176/large.jpg I'm building a Land Raider Crusader for my Wolf Lord to ride around, but I can't start building it until my ordered Forge World bits arrive. The only thing I could start working was the twin-linked assault cannon with added gunner. The piece is still WIP, but I like the idea of a real gunner shooting the weapon, while shouting around curses a sailor would blush at. "Oh, you want some of this too! You look like a dork in that outfit!" DAKKA, DAKKA! http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/110088177/large.jpg And finally, the Prowler. Barely held together with blu-tac, but you get the idea... I had many rhino kits lying around and didn't feel like buying a Predator kit (with yet another rhino hull), so I decided to convert a Predator from one of the Rhinos. I figured the open hull wouldn't be considered as open-topped since the crew is wearing power armour (same as land speeder isn't considered open topped). Armed with autocannon and a pair of heavy bolters (one is still missing from the pic. I guess my great company had run out of Predators and the Iron Priests converted some of the rhinos into gun-carriers to fill the hole. I call this vehicle Prowler, but it fully reps a predator. http://www.pbase.com/colhammer/image/110088178/large.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148095-wolves-of-the-space/#findComment-1914868 Share on other sites

RADU LYKAN
as your wolves are a bit bigger than your average marine, maybe they should have a bigger landraider to get about in? see linky ^_^ courtesy of doghouse Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148095-wolves-of-the-space/#findComment-1916372 Share on other sites

Vash113
Wow, now those are some nice Wolves. I particularly love the poses of the Marines in the first pic, very dynamic and your hair and pelts look excelent. An interresting shade of grey you've got going there too. Not sure that I like the dognaught but I'll reserve judgement till I see more. And I'm deffinitely looking forward to seeing some more pics of those termies! Menathorn
The Dognought is really cool. Am I guessing correctly that you have only used the Dreadnought and the head from a Khorn Jaugernought?
