Deathwatch Drop Pod

I've started work on a deathwatch drop pod, unfortunately I don't have the patience to order the brass etched inquisitorial symbols to stick on it and the box doesn't come with anything suitable so I went about making my own.

So I've managed to create one nice drop pod door... my problem.. I want to field 3 drop pods.. which is a total of 15 doors.. This was netiher fast nor easy process. Anybody have any suggestions.. Of course casting is the obvious choice, but I'm not sure that the details in the greenstuff will be captured for reproduction.

Here is the first one.

What you could do is make a green stuff mold. I do it for small scale things like shoulderpads and they work great. You may be able to do something similar with your drop pod doors. Heres the link for the shoulderpads (not mine), take a look and see if you might be able to do it on a larger scale.

Just scroll down when it comes up.

Very nice, I may have to 'borrow' that idea for my Deathwatch, assuming I ever get any Drop Pods. For reproduction, it seems a little large for decent moulding, especially if you are a beginner with the technique. What I would suggest is having only one or two doors like this per drop pod, with the rest sporting a similar, but far more simple =I= symbol. With some luck it might even make these stand out even more...
