Anyone have any suggestions for a Chapter name? Vet. I tried to keep the bases as a simple tile theme to keep the whole look "clean" feeling. The reason for the spear is I can use it as a "count as" for a P.fist or just a power weapon, depending on the list I want to run. (plus the standard marine box does not come with a power weapon or power fist and I had none left in my bitz box except a partial power sword).The chapter badge normall goes on the left shoulder but when I looked at the terminaters and special characters they all have terminator honors or other add-ons to their left shoulder and their right one is bare so in order to keep everything somewhat uniform I chose to go with the right shoulder for the chapter symbol. Custodian Athiair Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 what is your chapter style as that would help us with a name also a chapter geneseed if i were to make a couple of comments on the models the spear seems a bit flimsy for a marine for my liking and also the chapter symbol is a bit thick on the greenstuff but still well done on it for names how about the (fo the top of my head) Spears of Terra Black Spears Spears of Fire but something else why did you cut of the ends of the bolters? it just hit me as being a bit wierd but i don't know what effect you were going for so meh Athiair ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Legionaries of [Homeworld] Gibbous Knights Order of the Black Sun and Spears of Terra are both interesting and suitable. I don't really understand where people are getting peanut butter, but it's cute, me thinks :sick: . I agree concerning cutting off the ends of the bolters, In my humble, not so very important opinion, it's a little odd, and not pressuring you, but what was your reason behind it? I just thought the OP might want to include some sort of story about how the marines come from the Planet Pompeii, which has been rendered utterly uninhabitable because of volcanoes or something. Perhaps their world was destroyed via exterminatus (melta torpedoes?) and they're now a fleet-based chapter. Would have been a fairly cool concept! To answer the multiple questions regarding the bolters is that I never really liked the two extra protrusions (sp?) on top and below the muzzle but when I cut them off they the bolter looked really odd...so I just cut them all off and gave it a different look.
