Brother Nihm
Now that's suitably brass'y. :) Now do blood spattered hooves ala Lonewolf, you know you want to! Iacton
Verrr sexy Mr Wolf! The more of these I see, the more I want to buy one. Captain Malachi
I still havn't got around to making my jugger up, I've had it since last christmas, so I really should, it's just there was this huge piece of metal attacked to it that I can't seem to get off. Anyway, nice job. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/151628-wip-juggernaught/#findComment-1764663 Share on other sites
Draakur
Really nice bronze there, the bone face looks great with it too. I'm used to seeing juggers either in black or dark red, very much looking forward to seeing where this goes  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/151628-wip-juggernaught/#findComment-1764769 Share on other sites
birdie
Hey Lonewolf! great start to the jugger. I presume you've used Brazen Brass as the base, but what have you used as a wash/glaze over it? it kinda looks a bit bluey/green/turquoise? I like it as it gives an oxidisation feel to the body. My Herald of Khorne will be basically a head + arm swop of that beautiful model. On topic, how did you do the base? Lots of spares, or is it the Basing kit? L0NEW0LF
...On topic, how did you do the base? Lots of spares, or is it the Basing kit? it's a resin base from BLACKCATBASES.COM update time, well the Juggernaught is now finished  now i better get started on the Lord thats going to be riding him. The Lords all assembled and undercoated, hopefully i might get some painting done on him tommorow. anyway here's the Jugger.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/lonewolf_dcc/001-22.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/lonewolf_dcc/002-14.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/lonewolf_dcc/003-19.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/lonewolf_dcc/004-14.jpg Whaduyutink? Draakur
Really nice, you've gone with a limited palette but the simplicity has worked well. The blood looks excellent too, people often go for realistic blood but end up putting a sort of stylised spin on it, but this just looks like straight blood haha. Good work man ;) +edit+ Oh and agreed on the oxidisation, gives him a grittier feel, I like. You went with just the right amount, I think. L0NEW0LF
cheers i wanted to go for a Brass Jugger as you dont see many of them and i was worried it would be too much brass. the ribs, chest and most of the legs (bar the armour plates) are silver and i wanted to do a bone face for ages. i think the oxidation and the blood helps break up the brass aswell and once the lord himself is on it'll help break it up even more. JetfireUK
I really like the oxidised effect you've achieved with the brass. The face looks very well done too and I can't wait to see more.
