Hey Lonewolf! great start to the jugger.

I presume you've used Brazen Brass as the base, but what have you used as a wash/glaze over it? it kinda looks a bit bluey/green/turquoise? I like it as it gives an oxidisation feel to the body.

the new juggers are beautiful arnt they.

i'd really really recomend getting the new fantasy lord one if i were you mate thats even sexier than these ones

Great minds think alike! My Herald of Khorne will be basically a head + arm swop of that beautiful model.

On topic, how did you do the base? Lots of spares, or is it the Basing kit?

now i better get started on the Lord thats going to be riding him.

The Lords all assembled and undercoated, hopefully i might get some painting done on him tommorow.

Really nice, you've gone with a limited palette but the simplicity has worked well. The blood looks excellent too, people often go for realistic blood but end up putting a sort of stylised spin on it, but this just looks like straight blood haha. Good work man ;)

+edit+

Oh and agreed on the oxidisation, gives him a grittier feel, I like. You went with just the right amount, I think.

cheers i wanted to go for a Brass Jugger as you dont see many of them and i was worried it would be too much brass.

the ribs, chest and most of the legs (bar the armour plates) are silver and i wanted to do a bone face for ages.

i think the oxidation and the blood helps break up the brass aswell and once the lord himself is on it'll help break it up even more.
