I live in Denver and since they closed the Lakewood GW I've had a hard time finding a game. I just got re-aquainted with some really nice guys from the old GW store and we meet on Tuesdays. But I'm still a new member ion the group. I'm always up to play a game feel free to drop me a PM as well. I'm far from a power gamer, I've actually been able to play 2 whole 5th ed games. But beer + 40k= Cool. Nice to see Colorado represented on the Forum.

Cheers,

Brian

@Blarag; where do you ussually game?

@Both; I heard bad thing about Valhalla's, everyone sais it has a nice set up but the player are pretty competative.

I game at Valhalla's most of the time (i will occasionally go to Stomebridge in Longmont).

at Valhalla's there are a bunch of tournie gamers (im not one of them). they are fairly competitive, but they arent asses about it. if you are looking for a friendly game, you will most likely find it. I was also surprised to learn that there are a number of people that play specialist games (mostly epic and BFG). I personally like it there (it reminds me of the place i used to play at back in NY, they are open till like midnight and all that sort of stuff). I would be totally willing to meet you there (or wherever you game regularly) and play a game or 2.

@Entry1: you have a PM incoming with details and whatnot about playing a game

If your ever up north you should check out Gryphon games and comics, it is literally the friendliest place to play in America. Here is our meetup, it is free to join and you can see if there is anything you feel like driving up for.

I'm in Aurora, play mostly at Attactix when life permits, and would LOVE to play Garage-hammer again. It's how I got folks hooked on the game in North Dakota and Texas, so I'm all about that. And I'm not competitive - figure the Dice Gods hate me anyway, so as long as my casualties look sharp, I'm okay! :D

I have no idea where the Laramer campus of Front Range is, but I'm going to be coming into Mines as a freshman in the fall, so if they are close, we can probably get some games in.

In the meanwhile, I am able to get to Valhalla's and Stone Bridge with regularity (might be able to get to Griffon or Attactix every once and a while), so if any of you guys want a game, either send me a PM or drop me an email at jtheinquisitor@gmail.com

Hope to hear from one of you soon!

Hey all,

Just thought that I'd let people know that I will be going to Valhalla's tonight (probably get there around 5:30 or 6), so if any of you guys want to get a game in, just let me know via either posting here w/ a points size and approx time, or send me an email to jtheinquisitor@gmail.com with the same info.

Hope to hear from someone!

Hey guys, I'm one of the mountain WH40K club player (not too much of a beardy player-type I am), but I wouldn't mind to play a friendly games with you locals of the front range. Yeah Ive been gettin' a very good impression of the Northern CO gaming store (griffon), and I wouldn't mind to go check it out. I've only -been- to Vallaha and Attaix but never played with them. I just feel I need to -finish- painting my army, and I got three armies to do. -sigh-

Any of you an avid skiier/snowboarder ?

OOH ME! PICK ME! This is my second season, but I am trying my best to spend the majority of my time on my feet, not my ass.

as far as a game, I go to Valhalla's every Friday night, so we could meet up and get a game in or something like that. Just let me know when and how many points and I'll do my best to be there.

can't wait to here from you!

I go to Griffion to pick up graphic novels, so I see the weekend crowd. I tend to shun it away because it's a bit intimidating.

If someone would please PM me so I can get to know you, it would ease the transition and we could meet up and play!

The Larimer campus is right off of Harmony and Shields Map

Hobbytown, USA in South Ft Collins has a GW club as well (Knights of the Gaming Table), lots of cool folks in both the Hobbytown and Gryphon groups. Northern Colorado has a great community. Hobbytown runs Saturday and Sunday all day open gaming and stock massive amounts of GW stuff. Thursday night is the Gryphon open games day, I believe.

Hello everyone, I am a new player and looking to get a few games under my belt to get more comfortable with the rules, tactics, etc. Got about 1600 points of Raven Guard, all assembled and painted with the exception of one Drop Pod (and I am working on getting that figured out as soon as feasible). I am in Aurora, CO, and got most of the models at Attactix - unfortunately, I can't make Friday gaming group meetings there (band practice all the way down in Colorado Springs), so haven't got any gaming done at the store.

Anyway, I would be very much willing to have a game or two for beers and bragging rights and whatnot.

I am new to Colorado, I just came up here from Texas, and am in Colorado Springs. It has been awhile since I have played a game of 40k. I have a decent amount of points for my marines, although a lot of them are unpainted, its been awhile since I have picked up a brush. I am not a power gamer... obviously it has been about a year since I have played, right after the new marine codex came out, I just like to play for fun and bragging rights, drop me a PM if your interested.
