Now, you must understand, I don't have space...or money to get one of those nice class cases...So I use a shelf. All of these pictures were taken off my Deviantart Site. There, you can find my Tau and Nids My Sig. This was all originally posted on 40KTerra...with ALL of my stuff, including Tau and Tyranids...But I figured I'd edit out the Nid/Tau part, or this would be closed and I would be sad and angry...AT THE SAME TIME! =-D If I'll be allowed to post them, I will be happy to, but I'm fine doing this. Almost all of this army was originally painted pretty well...Stupid me wanted to make them better. So I took them ALL apart, to begin new painting. Stupid me. I took them ALL apart, not just a squad at a time. I was overwhelmed. So the group pic is what its all like now. Everthing else (Except Brother Dreadnought Brin and the Line Breaker Squadron and Exterminus) are all painted shoddily.. You must note, that I painted these about 2 years ago, when I restarted 40K...My painting and photo taking skills have greatly improved. It is supposed to show a wounded Black Templar Brother, hit hard by something with lots of bullets...He was hit with something hard over the left shoulder, which blew off his backpack, and his left shoulder pad. The two Tau guys standing up are giving the dumb guy helping the Templar cover fire, since they are out in the open. These guys are supposedly going to be shooting at some Orks. My friend who is "playing" Templar army, decided to do the Armageddon Crusade. I pretty much made him do it, but I gave him the "choice" of the war on Terra, or this one. He liked this one. Me too = D. This side of the board is done, and I'm just waiting for those Orks so I can finish. Man he was so cool, I just had to get the model. You have the army, so he should be in there ;) One thing. That BloodAngle on the dread's base has weird gore. Nothing else..except that Crusader, from eBay. I want a Sammael too though. Weird gore like what? The IG Joe underneath has him has both his legs chopped off..so there's more blood..but I don't know what else is up..besides it having a gloss finish, and no matte coat yet. I hoped it would win me $100 US from the MiniWargaming Terrain contest..but some lame hill won..The 2 runner ups were REALLY good, I wouldn't have minded if I lost to one of them..but a hill? I used the biggest drillbit I could find in my room (it was late, and I didn't want to wake up my parents), which was 1/4th inch. Then I used my knife to make the hole bigger, and have a indentation. Regrettably, I wish I had done so BEFORE I glued the doors on, because it was hard to cut with the knife when the Sponsons were there. Then I got a Cigar Lighter that I picked up from Las Vegas a couple years ago (double torch, freaking awesome) to melt the plastic. I had painted it already before someone pointed out the fact that the bullet holes on the LR wasn't enough to take it down, so when the fire hit the paint, it gave it a nice melty effect....Like what I figured a Meltagun would have done...a Multimelta is more like it, since there are two holes =-D Thanks on everything else too!
