=-D those are all of the Royal Redeemers. =-D

Generally...normal marines have blue on the greaves and knee-caps, arms up to the fingers on the left hand, and arms up to the wrist up on the right, the chest, and on the backpack, up/down the center, and the helmets. Dark gray guns. Red eyes. Bone chest eagles.

Here's MY Space Marine Captain...For all of you who know.. SHHHHHHHH I'm trying to close that thread..I've changed to project. I can only feel like a dick so much you know :HQ: but I'm a Ninja, so you can't see me.

Power Fist, Combi-Plasma, Digital Weapons, Auxiliary Grenade Launcher, Melta Bombs...I forgot to add the Auxilary Grenate Launcher..so I have to figure that out because some sticklers might like WYSIWYG. He's 185 points.

You know..I'm having a hard time figuring out. =-D It took me 4 tries to get the base for the captain (not shown anymore).. I think.. its.. Charadon Granite base coat, heavyish/lightish (yeah I know.. =-D) drybrush of Khemri Brown, then lightish drybrush of Dheneb Stone, then a light drybrush of Green Ochre (Vallejo Paint) then another drybrush (while the Green Ochre is still wetish) of Dheneb Stone..

If you don't get it, I can do it in steps with pictures...and I thank you, because now I know how to paint it =-D If I ever forget, I'll just come back here =-D.

Thanks!

I finished construction of the random sergeant. I need to figure out how to make small rivets for his loin plate. Note the Royal Redeemers chapter symbol on it.

My sister's dog is being sent home tomorrow from New York (I live in California) so I won't be able to spray this until Sunday? I'm marching in my school marching band in the Oakland Christmas Parade..which will be filmed, and put on TV on the...14th?

Paint soon.

Alright! Update! I received my traded bitz yesterday. Friday. I got a minimal (legs, torso, heads, arms, gun) combat squad, and 9 scouts =-D But I need 9 sniper rifles...because I don't want normal bolters for them. (And this is great, because now, when I get Sergeant Telion, I won't end up with 2 sergeants and 8 snipers (If I bought 2 scout squad box sets))

I spent the time that I wasn't marching today constructing and cleaning these models...And finding bitz. The squad and all it's glory. Ready for spraying tomorrow before I start my homework =-D

I also constructed this AWESOME gun rack for spraying. It took 2 minutes, including idea design, its super high tech. The thing is, the two wires that don't have bolters on them are a tad thinner than all the others, and the drill bit I use, and none of the guns fit on them.

Oh, and there aren't going to be any rivets on the sergeant's loin plate. Too much work.

Bumpity bump bump, bumpity bump bump. Look at Frosty gooo.

Shameless bump...no pictures.

I'm in the process of stripping a bunch of random marine bitz, because thats how desperate I am to model something. I'm also in the process of stripping the Librarian. I just went over it with the brush for the first time, so I'm soaking it for another night.

I've also started painting the squad. I've gotten four of the marine's blue basecoat, and the Termie.

So my sister came home, and with ample begging, I got her to bring her Rebel EOS..something..a really old model. I'm actually not too impressed with its macro mode..but I am QUITE impressed with is other picture taking.

Here, you can judge for yourself, which do you like more, the older pictures, or these two new ones. And this is also a slight update..but only ever so slightly.

So..since I didn't get ANY feedback on the different pictures..I have to do a verbal update..which is something I was planning on doing soon anyways.

I've dunked my Librarian..and he looks pretty good. I foolishly had planned on keeping him in my room, while soaking, so I cut off the slotta-base thing, so he could fit in a film canister with a cap. But, the smell leaked through the lid, so I had to move him to the garage..so I could have kept the slotta-base on. AND the force stick wouldn't have gotten bent..Now its at like..a 46 degree angle..so more bending back.

My sister came home Saturday, and brought home her DSLR too..You probably could have guessed with the last post. But she came home today, from doing mass shopping. And asked me if I wanted my Christmas present now or at Christmas...I said I want it on Friday, because I don't have school for two weeks, starting then. And also because I have an unfinished squad right here!

But I'm excited, because I had sent her my wish list, which was ALL 40k stuff...and she had said "so you can start putting it together now"..which OBVIOUSLY meant something =-D Unless its LEGO =-D haha..but I haven't gotten LEGOs in yearrrrs.

I did no painting today..or yesterday. Yesterday, I went to Chinatown. And today I had homework, and a Boy Scout Eagle Court to go to. I have also gotten some feedback on the Magnet Videos too! So check those out, they're in the tutorial section here on Bolter and Chainsword.

@Author: Thanks Man! Keep working on it..I've read the How to Paint Citadel Miniatures book about 3 times..though I've found it unhelpful... =-/

@Grim0thy: Thanks, I will.

UPDATE!!!!! well not really. But I'm SUPERRR Excited!!!

My sister and I CAN'T keep secrets, and are super impatient...SO she gave me my Christmas present just now.!! YESSSS!!!! Sternguard, Vanguard, Master of the Chapter, and a Commander. YEEESSSSSSS

I would have been HAPPIER! With 3 Tactical squads and a Commander..but what the hell. YESSS

I took a couple of pics with the DSLR, which I think gave me a better picture than the SD600 would have given me...and the battery was dead because I left it plugged into the comp all night and day =-P
