I'm only going to add stuff to it to make it game legal, then the lot's going to ebay to fund my Death Guard and Blood Ravens. Heh... I should get round to getting a lightbox setup so I can take consistent photos... These are pretty quickly done - just one blend layer and simple freehand insignia and squad markings. winterdyne Posted November 12, 2008 Author Share Posted November 12, 2008 Actually this squad are plastics with the exception of the sergeant. The other combat squad of 1st squad is also all plastic. There'll also be a metal devastator squad (plus another 5 plastic bolter marines), and an all-metal tactical squad. Then all the classic characters - Azrael, Bethor, Asmodai and Ezekiel. These are the plastics in the 'Space Marines Warriors of The Imperium' box set ('96), which IIRC originally retailed at around £5 for 6 marines. You can certainly assemble them to be very similar to the orignal MK VII metals (although the arms are thicker). The complete lineup (all painted to this quality) will be: Azrael & Helmet Bearer Ezekiel Asmodai Command Squad (Apothecary, 4x Veterans w/ bolters, Standard Bearer (Bethor)) Tactical Squad 1 (Bolters, Vet Sgt w/ power weapon, MkI Rhino) Tactical Squad 2 (All metal, Bolters, Plasma Cannon, Plasma Gun, Vet Sgt w/ bionics, bolt pistol & chainsword, MkI Rhino) Devastator Squad (2x Plasma Cannon, 2x H. Bolter, Vet Sgt w/ power weapon & bolt pistol, 5x marines w/ bolters) Dreadnought (Metal, Twin-linked Lascannon & Missile Launcher, Smoke Launcher, Searchlight) I was thinking around $550 / £300 for the lot - sound reasonable? As a bonus, I'll be throwing in an army display tray and individual squad trays like the above. (Which I also make on commission, plug plug!)
