shortsonfire79 - Lol, surely a jelly fish would wriggle a bit though? and they move if you poke them with a stick. i'm pretty sure glaciers don't do that :P

Sandolphon - i knew there was something familiar about the pose but i couldn't put my finger on it :)

anyway, i'm starting to get somewhere now, i've started on the scratches (my favorite bit, so i probably rush to get to that stage sometimes)

i've still got no idea what colour to do the helmet lenses tho.

He's coming along nicely. Great blends on the metal parts, the shell exhaust is covered with a well chosen part :down:, subtle battle damages. I'm missing some dust on the wheels (I don't think, that he howered to the shooting position), but I'm sure, that you always wanted to add it later.

Heres mine... the only part I need to add to the bike is a rear thruster. I still need to touch up the conversion beamer itself. But the beamer does swivel on its mount.

you pulled off that pose pretty well, nicely done.

I would've liked to have seen some more tech on the guy, like a servo harness supporting the gun itself. But if you think of the character as a tank hunter more than a forge master, it works well, I like it ;)

Kryppers - yeah, most definitely a tank hunter, i liked the idea of a lone warrior stalking the far edges of the battlefield picking off the biggest targets with unerring accuracy.

rindaris - nice! I like it. I probably would've gone for a more imperial look for the stabilising wings on the side, but that's just personal preference. otherwise a nice conversion.

risK - thanks. when you made the comment about the H/bolter casing ejector it made a lot of sense. trying out the new washes set on this model, they seem pretty good especially for the metal sections. and as you said dust on the wheels will be the last thing to do.

Shortsonfire79 - what are you poking them with!!? a battle cannon? ^_^

As far as updates go, i've managed to leave my camera and the memory card for my camera in two completely separate locations. so sadly no updates until monday. however i promise that the update will be an immense one!! and will probably extend to my WIP thread with all the random stuff i'm working on will be put.

fought a battle on friday with the first outing of the master of the forge and the thunderfire cannon. sadly both were destroyed in the second turn by some scurvy blood angels before they had a chance to fire!. gutted. MotF now has scratches on the bike, just the gun and the base to finish and he's done.

Nice pose, I really like the idea of a biker stoping to take a clear shot.

I like the gun, that's one BFG! Maybe a bit too long, but that's just my opinion.

Like many others, I might steal the pose for my bikers...

Good work!

Praised be the Fonz!

Ganeos

Hey,

Great work and pose like everyone else has said;

I would honestly cut the gun down though;

a perfect point would be where the steel/boltgun metal painted part fo the xenos flamer ends, and that square tech grill section begins. *On second look, just cut it off at the exact end of the flamer's barrel and file it smooth, it'll make the rifle and pose look a lot more balanced.

Great job though!

Just my opinion.

Just drill a hole in the then end of barrel.

If not, and you like the long rifle look, then keep it and start converting some matter!!!!
