Wolf_lord_bjorn Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Until the new Inquisition codex is out, I am going to use some Deathwatch models and use them as Counts-as sternguard. I have ordered the DW conversion kit, 2 boxes of DA veterans and 2x catachan sentinel kits. I am going to make them up with 2x Heavy Flamer, 3x combi flamers and the rest as bolters. (combat squad the flamers up for some horde army ownage :eek). I put on express delivery so they should come either Saturday or Monday. I may magnetize the heavy flamer dudes, as the DW probably wont have that in their codex. I think Deathwatch bolters with Sterguard magazines makes the most sense of all - I mean, they have all these ammo types so it stands to reason that they have shot selectors. Wolf_lord_bjorn Posted November 24, 2008 Author Share Posted November 24, 2008 My stuff hasnt arrived yet, but heres some pics of my W.I.P Blood Ravens Chapter master (shrike minus raven guard logo + blood ravens logo, minus jump pack) and my custom jump-pack librarian (sternguard with relic blade, equipped with shrike's jump pack and arms from a GK Termie with the inquisition/DH iconography removed/greenstuffed over, also added force hood made of shoulder pad, greenstuffed robes, and a guitar wire cable from the force hood!)
