Draakur Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 Personally I think the flamers are quite interesting, not schemes I would have chosen myself, but I can still appreciate them. I prefer the pink squad. Seconded on the yellow suggestion, I think that could look great on screamers. Maybe a yellow fade into orange on certain parts of the bodies, changed around for each model? Razormind Posted December 17, 2008 Author Share Posted December 17, 2008 Thanks Malachi, was going for my Nurgle grinder to be similar to my plaguebearers. my screamers are done, the blue ones need something but I am not sure what yet, so they will be good to go as is for the challenge. only thing left are the display board, objective markers, and basing. All that has to be done tomorrow as I have not even eaten dinner yet! arrrrgghhhhh. as always, comments and crits welcome! Razormind Posted December 23, 2008 Author Share Posted December 23, 2008 Thanks again for all of the replies. I just played this army against Ultramarines tonight and let me tell you, THEY RULED! I demolished his marines, the flamers took out tactical squads with ease, the Horrors with their 30 shots each helped ease the suffering of the remaining marines, heck, in fact they wiped out Marneus Calgar (my buddy rolled 6 1's for saves :-) Fateweaver is worth all 333 points. just the reroll saves alone power is the bomb! out of 20 horrors, I lost 3. The Great Unclean One wiped out a terminator assault squad (he did take 2 wounds from the battle though) and immobilized his land raider. The plaguebearers toughed it out to hold an objective but the others were killed to a bearer by a deepstriking terminator squad. My Soul Grinders came in late to the game, but the Phlegm attack is awesome, AP3 against SPAM, bwahahahahahaha. Sadly, my screamers and Beasts of Nurgle deepstruck off the board and all proceeded to die on the deepstrike mishap table. anyhoo, this build rocks!!!!
