This is what I have completed so far for my crimson fist army. Will add more pictures later breaking them all up. I am not a fan of doing faces but over all it was ok. I have sevral special and heavy weapons guys to switch out as needed. Tried to give them that battered and beaten look to them. Wanted them to look like they just came out of heavy fighting. Using a dry brush to put some metalic paint and blacks washes to give a worn and beat up tool. Went alright for my first try at it still needs lots of work. Kushan- Ya I have tried in the past on my Tau and just ended up with really bad googly eyes like a bad muppet lol. Vredesbyrd- Yeah I have seen it done and ooks great but didn't have the tool to do it right now. I might try later to go back and try to do that to the guns. Alot of the chest and legs are from the command box, the power swords from the new dark angels sprus, and the icons from anywhere I could find them terminator spures mostly if I remember. Since they come with Power Sword, bolter, and bolt pistol it was hard to always modle everything on them so I mixed the squad up so can see all the weapons between them. There are no chapter icons to grind off, and the inappropriate wargear is all on the arms you have to affix to the model anyway. I was on ebay and if you type in Crimson fists, someone is sellling a bunch of commanders that have been converted. They are worth taking a look at.
