Ashur Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 After some years painting warhammer, Ive decide to start a serious project again. And what could be more serious than space wolves? My plan is not only to paint the space marines, but to create a SW themed Imperial Guard to act as the chapter's thralls. For the SW, I can wait until they release the new ones. For the thralls, Ive already tried some ideas using IG and all the bearded heads I could found, vostroyans, kislevites, and even the teutogen guard from the Empire army. Any miniature feral and/or bearded enough to look like fenrisian tribesmen. Those are only prototypes since I'm still looking for fluff about the fenrisians and what kind of units would fit. Some of them are already painted. Not great work, but I'm still looking for a correct aspect. Any advice will be welcomed and thanked. I'm new in the forum and Ive never been good at painting. Though be mindfull that since this forum is Power Armor only you can't really post pics or discuss armies that aren't PA related (except for daemons :P). Pah, the speeder is almost always in my armies Ashur, my lord knows the benefits of the vehicles and makes good use of his fast attack slots. :P Also Vash remember that Daemon Princes have power armour... as well does Bloodthirsters, even if it's not always called power armour, it's still 3+ :mellow: Don't be hating on my babe. As for Daemon Princes and Blood Thirsters, I don't think that really counts, it's not Power Armor per say, by that logic Striking Scorpions would make Eldar valid, but hey not a discussion for here or now. I'm trying to replace him with my Wolf Lord, but he is pretty fat. more than the average warhammer body. Next thing I'll post will be pictures. I promise.
