He is a little shiny at the moment and I dont quite know how to get rid of it. I put a few layers of 'ardcoat on him and then 3 layers of GW matt varnish. It has dulled the shine alot but as I said, still some left. Any ideas how to get rid of that last little bit. More layers of matt maybe? Also, its my first real attempt at using decals. I thought they came out rather well. Anyways, here are the pics. And yes, he isnt based. It seems to be easily available and just starting testing it out now... had great results so far. Actually you can get it, this site seems to have it at a reasonable price. But will Testors dull it down enough. I thought that GW matt varnish would do the job, being matt and all but apparently not.
