I'm gonna have a fair few khorne things, but I'm not doing a mono-god legion. I was thinking iron warriors, as I lurv tanks, but I want havoks as well. Gah! I'm so confuzzled... Out of all the other Legions they are the most Chaosy and are likely to have alot of Cult and Undivided troops. They are also zealous warriors and have two sweet books (Dark Disciple and Dark Apostle) They also played a major part in the Horus Heresy because they were the first to turn to Chaos and turned Horus into a traitor so there is a cool historical flare to a Word Bearers army. Raptors also sort of make sense with icon of khorne for world eaters. havocs are sort of unlikely. Black legion is another altern itve although abbadon is really expensive. Rain Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Ok first of all, not very many legions other than Black Legion and World Eaters would have a lot of khorne marked units fluff-wise and by the way your proposed scheme is almost exactly that of the World Eaters. As for Word Bearers having a lot of marked units, I am pretty sure WB worship Chaos as a pantheon and find it alien to worship any one god as they see Chaos to be one big entity that should be worshiped as a whole and worshiping any one part is bordering on heresy. Rain Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Good choice, and as the World Eaters are fragmented as a legion they can even conceivably be mixed with some other (non Slaanesh or Tzeentch though!) chaos forces as mercenaries or something of that nature so you don't have to go all berzerkers.
