If it did, you could just go adding servo arms to Tac sargeants or an entire tactical squad, so they could continuosly repair their own rhinos. just to pick a nit, any rhino crew can repair their rhino, servo arm or not ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it did, you could just go adding servo arms to Tac sargeants or an entire tactical squad, so they could continuosly repair their own rhinos. just to pick a nit, any rhino crew can repair their rhino, servo arm or not :) via special rule. face it - only techmarines (who, by virtue of their armour save, are tyranids or something) can fix a tank. chronus is a tau ethereal, and calgar is actually a dark elf cauldron of blood. Rhino's have the repair rule where the basic rhino crew can fix an imobilised result on a 6. Servo arms are -1 each to the roll needed for a techmarine to fix a tank. carrying the power of the servo arm over to Chronus, if he's repairing an imobilised rhino, does he succeed on a 5+? Chronus has a servo-arm for whatever reason he may, for all we know it's so he can eat chips and power fist someone at the same time! Techmarines have a special rule "Blessing of the Omnissiah" that allows them to repair vehicles on a 5+. Chronus has no such rule, so he may not repair vehicles at all. If you want him to help, stick a Techmarine in a squad with Chronus after he has to eject, you'll repair on a 4+ now. Chronus cannot repair vehicles, for all intents and purposes the Servo-arm just grants him one S8, Initiative 1 power weapon attack in addition to his 2 normal attacks. nighthawks Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 seems kinda irrelavent as he should be in a tank with guns, thus benefiting from the BS boost he provides. but the servo arm rules are for BotO for techmarines only, and the repair rule is a fixed roll of 6+. He's a pro tank commander and has learned a thing or two from a techmarine or three but when all is said and done he's still a admech college drop out.
