Steel Hawks Drop Pod

Finished my first plastic Drop Pod yesterday. Took a good bunch of hours to assembly and paint, probably around 10 hours.

I'm quiet pleased how it turned out. Was shooting for something gritty and well used. Painting in something I call "Improved Table Top Quality", which is I guess a standard I'm comfortable painting (ie my skills).

Green is a coat of Orkhide Shade, then two coats of dry brushes snot green followed by a wash of Devlan Mud. Red is a coat of Machrite Red, then wetbrushed Blood red. Notice now I forgot to highlight the red (ops!)

Comments are welcome.

@Terminatorinhell:

It's a pretty tough model to build and assembly without the right guide. I made some big mistakes but I could recover from them. Don't notice them now, thankfully.

Painting. It was kinda boring since you have the five fins with ten sides so you have plenty of identical areas.

But a Drop Pod is very iconic for Space Marines so every chapter should have at least one <_<

@Others: Thanks guys. Will improve the dome in the center. Gloss and some white text should do good.
