Do the Grey Knights special rules apply to GK Dreadnaughts?

 

There is no refernce to the page with the GK special rules on the Dreadnaughts profile. Yet the latest FAQ indicates that they get 'Aegis'. So do the GK dreads have 'shrouding'?

 

Please supply a reference for me if possible.

 

If the GK dreads dont have Shrouding then what is the fluffy reason for it?

GK Dreads do not benefit from the 'Grey Knights' rules. However, if you buy the Dreadnought the 'Blessed' upgrade, it benefits from 'The Aegis' special rule, for the purposes of which its Leadership is 10. This is what the FAQ refers to.

See I thought it was so because there is a comment about lack of Shrouding in Silent Requiem's article. Anyway this chump was trying to argue with me that they did have shrouding. Being too new to argue the toss I said I would look it up in detail.

@Inquisitor =D=, one can only wish! I think I'll model mine with dangling insence burners and claim a cover save because it's obscured by "holy smoke" :) or just claim its my Smoke launchers
