Vash113 Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 So got some more work done on my wolves, including this large pack of Blood Claws: Front: http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m307/Vash113/IMG_0490-1.jpg Back: http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m307/Vash113/IMG_0491-1.jpg These guys were a pain, I like painting up a squad at a time, usually 5-10 models, doing all 15 at once was a lot of shuffling them from one side of the table to the other as I added one detail, then the next, then the next, and a lot of looking over each one to make sure I didn't miss anything, and invariably I did. Brother SRM Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Not a fan of the green rings on the bases - it doesn't mesh well with the grey/blue of the armor and the darker brown sand. Also, I think a flesh wash on all the bare heads would look good, as the faces lack definition from what I can see. Aside from that, these pups look ready to see some combat! Vash113 Posted February 1, 2009 Author Share Posted February 1, 2009 The green is just classic, and I happen to have a lot of snot green laying around, thinking about changing it to another color, what would you suggest? The faces need a wash, unfortunately I stopped by a hobby shop today and they were out of stock... :devil:. Brother SRM Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 I would go with a color like graveyard earth. It would look really good combined with the lighter sand you have.
