Uprising Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Hello brothers With my new chaos army coming in spring and i finally choosed a warband-Dragon warriors. The reason i choose them is because *Love the color scheme *There basicly Chaos salamanders *flamers are good against horde, which everyone plays nows *Lastly, i love theme army so i see DW as Tzeencth, khorne or undivdle army, so fluff doesn`t become a issue because if i want cc i add zerkers or move of a shooting army add ts. But there are some problems *I never paint red before, only green *Don`t know how to make there symbol of the flamining dragon *I tried all gw red for there color but can`t find a match for the red armour please help with the color scheme. Roultox Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 I have to admit I would go blue because of my favorite childhood RPG on NES Dragon Warrior 1, 2 and 3, before they turned it into "Dragon Quest/DragonballZ" style. That is, if your into the old NES like me. :P The red theme for Dragon Warriors, I would suggest painting the main color, the light scales with a lighter color, not darker, so that it can be covered up to make the "V" shape of the scale where splotches happen. For those without 300+ hours of holding a painters brush. ;) Anyone notice there is a semi-chaos star and horns on the Dragon Warrior? I never put that in mind.
