I like your test model. it's ginda gritty liked he's been stuck in battles for a little while and just keeps on going with the fighting. The helbrecht looks great too, got one on my work bench and everytime I look at it I get less enthused to paint it. My only gripe about yours is the eyes, but I know how much of a pain they are so it's no big deal. Well done sir! keep it up!

They look good so far M2C especially your attention to detail. One point is the eyes on Helbrecht pull the paint job down. You really need to make the pupils touch top and bottom eye lids. The GW model doesn't show it that well but the Space Marine Commander gives a good idea. There was also a WD article a few issues back that looked at painting faces and eyes, if you want I'll go looking for the issue number. Also the metal on the Test Model needs a few highlights but I got a feeling he wasn't finished. But as for the scheme I like it although the script on the red robe could do with some more attention so it doesn't look like just straight lines. And I vote Setting D.

Cheers, Messanger

What did you use for your EC legs? i dont see any green stuff so it looks like you used a sprue. and i love his head it reminds me of Gundam for some reason lol.

One Assault squad leg canted upwards to rest on a pile of rubble. I filed it down and GS'd the back. Similar to doghouse truescaling to get the suit and armor to match up.
