Graypaint
Why is the right front shoulder of the Juggernaught so dark when it's relativity one of the higher points? It's sort of jarring that it looks so dark, I guess it contrasts with the terminator's armor from the angle you photographed him, which is nice. Berzerker Pezz
IDK I kind of think it makes the light source look very inconsistent. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/160459-sanguinary-guards-akaranseth-p8/page/5/#findComment-2016825 Share on other sites
wiplash
aaawwwww man that is just too good one thing is that the skulls on the model are painted in a completely different way to those on the base, not so much the coulouring but the shadows and stuff, dunno if thats an issue im presuming the axe head isn't finished? it has no where near the same amount of dimension as the rest of the model i have to say that i like the way the shoulderpad is opositely gradiented, i think it would look to heavily shaded if it was the right way up the part he is standing on (the black/brown flooring) i dunno it just doesn't look very real, i dunno if it is too late to fix that though? Saint of Steel
This guy and Magmatrax definitely need to have a duel; preferably on some skull-ridden volcanic daemonworld! Simply stunning. I can't wait to see the finished piece. ;) P.S. - I've just had a look at your gallery... you're a talented man indeed. The Ogryn piece is simply phenomenal! The dead guardsman in the water is just fantastic, it really reminded me of the Dead Marshes in Lord of the Rings. Kudos! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/160459-sanguinary-guards-akaranseth-p8/page/5/#findComment-2017342 Share on other sites

Vel'Cona
Helbrecht is quite nice looking. He's always struck me as the sort of fig that really demands a paint job like this. Oh, and I'm crossing my fingers about your Jugger project; the early paints were absolutely amazing. akaranseth
So here are most likely the last pictures before the GD since as of tomorrow I'll have entered the "stop bugging me I'm painting" mode so I can maybe fit 2 more entries... There is still one or two things I want to correct on the beast but overall that's quite it. The base will received more washes, dry pigments, inks and resin but it won't take too long! http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0131.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0132.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0133.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0134.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0135.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0136.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0137.jpg And here is the following project but is it Space Marine enough for here...??? : http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a140/akaranseth/DSC_0130.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/160459-sanguinary-guards-akaranseth-p8/page/5/#findComment-2020245 Share on other sites

akaranseth
which GD u going too?i would love to see these in real life? It will presented in Toronto next weekend. I'll also be at GD Chicago so it will be exposed at the Golden Demon Lounge or in the Golden Demon if it comes back empty handed from Toronto. I'll also be at GD UK but I am unsure if I'll still have this mini by then. Muskie
Good job. I gotta get me some more forgeworld goodies. I'll give you ye old link, but not necessarily until after work. My website has some level of popularity. My biggest question is how many pieces does the Khorne terminator come in? I know the head is seperate, but I plan to do weapon swaps as I plan to use him in my army but not as the special character. I also can't wait for the rules for the Blight Drones as I think 2 or 3 of those would help the Diseased Sons.
