Is this right?

So, I'm considering doing a deamon army, and mono-nurgle really looks good to me. With epi on the table I really just want super nurglings.

But then something occurred to me: Fateweaver allows you to re-roll failed saves, right? Does this extend to feel no pain saves? If so, it extends a standard plague bearer's save from failing 1/3 to failing 1/9 wounds taken. With the 3+ FNP that the tallyman gives them, that goes from 18/81 failed saves to 4/81 failed saves. That means that if a unit of super-bearers is within 6" of Kairos then they need to take 283.5 wounds to kill a 14 blob unit.

So the question is, does this work, or am I misinterpreting the rules?

Fateweaver says "I DO WHAT I WANT!"

That aside, it's expliciting in his rules.

It WOULD, however, make for a durable army. I use Fateweaver + Plaguebearers as a tarpit, and then something nasty in CC comes along and deals with what the flypaper caught.
