Cpt_Reaper
I was merely seconds ago lookin on the aussie online store and I came apon the metal Carnosaur and thought...how cool would it be to mount an Inquisitor on one? So I thought...what other things have Inquisitors been mounted on or what you would like to mount one on? number6
I'm sure the converted result would look very cool ... but are you thinking of using the model for gaming purposes? In which case, as what would you count it? He's so very different from a normal =I= model that you might not even want -- or possibly even able -- to field him that way. Inquisitor =D=
If you had a very lenient friend it could count as an acolyte or two. I mean they take the wounds either way right? But if you roll that way you'd need an identical inquisitor on foot to represent the lack of said acolyte. Would be one sweet conversion though. Inquisitor Agrippa
Depending on the size, perhaps count such an inquisitor as Karamazov? boreas
Well, I did this one for an apocalypse game a few months ago! http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...arnosaur+boreas Phil Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161327-mounted-ordo-malleus-inquisitor/#findComment-1894683 Share on other sites
Cpt_Reaper
Well I have three plans for the model: - just have it as a cool looking =I= with no rules - make it an apoc only special character - hope that eventually a new DH codex comes with a bike/mount option Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161327-mounted-ordo-malleus-inquisitor/#findComment-1895097 Share on other sites
Grand Master Tyrak
Forgeworld do a range of non-horse-mounted Tallarns - here. Perhaps if you could get hold of one you could mount your Inquisitor on it? Empty Bolter Clip
I used the mech horse from the WFB Empire engineer and mounted my Witch Hunter Inquisitor onto it... no fancy rules for him or anything, just did it for fluff and looks. Eddie Orlock
Depending on the size, perhaps count such an inquisitor as Karamazov? This would be my impulse, find a way to convert a plausible multi-melta and you're comparatively good to roll. Inquisitor Agrippa
[This would be my impulse, find a way to convert a plausible multi-melta and you're comparatively good to roll. At the least claiming the melta is a type of directed breath weapon? Or some such. Really it comes down to what can be converted just like you said Eddie. Eddie Orlock
Maybe, but 'Breath Weapon' just screams 'Flamer Template' to me, and Multi-Meltas just don't play that way. I'd be tempted to kit bash one from a marine with a backpack mounted one for a power armoured Inquisitor and use the beast to justify the combat stats, or some kind of hard point fixed to the harness. Inquisitor Agrippa
Breath weapon also screams template to me too, so I tried to divert it by saying 'direct' like maybe he spits a stream of acid and not a gaseous cloud. But yeah, converting an actual multimelta would be best. Inquisitor Fox
The Inquisition can induct Rough Riders... I have some neat lizardy ones I'm working on with mounts I found on Ebay and kitbashed plastic conversions...
