Uncle Mel Posted February 28, 2009 Share Posted February 28, 2009 Hi fellow members of the inquisition! i would like to show my army of daemonhunters and get some feedback on them (what am i missing) group shot: blurry grand master: Inquisitor lord (die slaaneshi dark eldar!) elites inquisitor: skimpy dressed callidus dread: lr 1 with scratch built lascannon sponsons (weapons are interchangable, used to be a crusader) if you can guess what is used for front door, you get a big cookie! land raider crusader: land raider 3: PAGK trooper with back mounted nfw banner bearer: double bladed nfw: inducted guard with torch (no flame though) damocles: normal rhino: my counts as brass scorpion "captured warp entity" well, tell me what you think. uncle mel ps, i know this might supposed to be in the hall of honour section but i thought you guys could appreciate this more :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really like the way u constructed that banner on the dread!! with a skeleton hanging there and all, very well detailed! The side on Land Raider #3 was cool too!! LOL u got same idea about the skeleton on a dreadnought as I ;) ...a friend of mine has a few sprues left from a Giant (fantasy) and there are a few cool skeletons :). You look like you put a lot of effort into your guys and it shows. I got one thing though... How did you model the Grey Knight gunner on the Land raider? Uncle Mel Posted March 1, 2009 Author Share Posted March 1, 2009 wow, thanks guys. i used to play black templars, they had more skeletons than you could wave a stick at! the chicks are indeed de slaves. the gunner is a standard pagk with his arm cut off and replaced with the standard marine gunners arm. thmelta is from a land speeder and so is the visor. i did spend a lot of time converting each model but it has paid off. each and every pagk is converted. and 85% of the other models is as well. the scorpion is something i have never used as it is "pre-apocalypse" and i have been out of the hobby for about four years. thanks for the feedback guys and i'll post the rest of my stuff when it is painred. It isn´t even hard to do I heard..."just" paint the base read, add the blocks on and leave some cracks to show the lava bubbling below. It would also fit in with the DH theme nicely since Deamons usually are linked with lava/fire etc. and if the ground is melting and becoming lava it is definetely time to pull out and call for the cavarly :whistling: Personally I´m going to make my guys with a winter theme, as with my woodies :woot: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
