The dual flaming Dred is flippin sweet. I have those bits as extra as well and I was wondering what to do with them. Great idea. While your version of the SRaven is pretty cool, I think it looks a tad fat. It might just be the engines, but it looks like it has been snacking on too many deamons. Maybe put it on a treadmill? Anyhoo, Finally got round to doing a bit of GK stuff, probably in a minority here but I actually LIKE the Dreadknight! If, like me, you already own a bazillion of the metal GK figures and don't really want to fork out on yet MORE unnecessary plastic minis here is a little easy fix solution to converting those pyscannons to psilencers on a non permanent basis. If, also like me, your a natural born '1' roller you will be gracious for the numerous dice this option adds as for some of us it's usually the only way we can hit that barn door! Simple really, using some appropriate plastic tubing I created some psilencer looking barrel caps which simply slot over the original Psycannon barrels, one size fits all! They are held with a little bluetak and allow me to quickly distinguish between which of my troops are carrying what. 6 took me about 30 mins to knock up, cheap as chips! Stands around 9 inches tall, weighs a kilo and contains 131 parts! 230'ish quid including shipping and special pre-order price, all things considered quite a cracking price, only shame is there will be about a 2 or 3 month wait and I will probably get stung for import duty to UK BIG BAH. Calvinus Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 Wow, that's a lot of models to fit in that one razorback! :D I've been admiring your GK army since the latest codex rumors had started a few months back but I'm especially impressed with how much work you've done lately. Everything look very nice and you have every reason to be proud of your work! It's nice to see so much diversity in your collection too, even the newer models. You didn't just buy Crowe and 60 purifiers or Draigo and 60 Paladins (which would be one heck of an apoc list...) and not only just other GW figures but the Scibor mini's too. They look great on those bases and makes me re-think my own basing plans. P.S. I second Number6; the quicker you assemble and paint the dreamforge mini the happier I will be too! BulldogUK Posted May 30, 2011 Author Share Posted May 30, 2011 A few Small updates, bagged a banner from ebay, gave it a tickle with the brush and decided to hand it over to the paladin 'counts as' for safe keeping http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/BrotherhoodBanner1.jpg I also got fed-up with waiting for FW to get those damn autocannons back in stock (typical they have now) so splashed out on an aegis defense box set and used the un-modified ones out of it, I quite like the 'rifleman' look and bonus is the spare bits are gonna go to make some nice objective markers.
