bobte11th5 Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Hey guys, the reason for this 'conversion' (compared to some of the ones i have seen on here it doesn't really stack up) was that i rewrote my army list and my tactical sarge no longer has a power fist. SO to avoid confusion in games, i decided id try my hand again at greenstuff (you never know, 7th time lucky??) even though im convinced that an sm hitting you with a big metal glove will kill you, power field or not... cathar the great Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 It's a good idea, but from what I can make out on the pictures, the green stuff is just a blob without shape. I personnally try to avoid using GS if I can do its job with bits, and your conversion would be a good example for that. It may look better if you just clip a bit of the fist off and glue the chainswords and decoration directly on. Just my try at a constructive comment... bobte11th5 Posted March 30, 2009 Author Share Posted March 30, 2009 Yeah, i thought about that to begin with, but i needed a case for it, as it looked kinda odd, especially the end of the swords where i cut them off. the green suff was partially to hide that and it added to depth to it, almost like the casing on the termi chainfist.
