I'm thinking of running a Horus Heresy tourney at my local store, and i was wondering, Which is the better rule set: BoLS or Tempus fugitives? Please state your opinion and why! Skirax Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Well, Tempus is more of an Expansion pack, BoLS is a set campaign, with a laid out missions, when characters die etc. so they bothwork nicely for the area they were designed for. If you mean rules wise, Tempus is better, the Legion Tactics and the named Characters are well balanced and playtested, and there are PRIMARCHS!!!!!!!! ;) Ahem. Custodian Athiair Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 i agree Tempus is better becuase it is more up to date it has the Primarches there arn't very strict restrictions (eg. i can field the Redeemer but only one becuase my legion are experimenting on vechicles) the rules make sense and also the Tempus has more characters for each legion BoLS only has 2 or 3 while the Tempus has about 7 or 8 hope that helps Athiair :woot: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
