Scout Sniper Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 Hey everybody, I'm getting started on my entry for the Calls 'cause I might not be around for the official starting date. For my pledge I said I would paint 5 units of Space Wolves. As my painting has improved since I painted my original SW I decided to do some weathering etc. this time round. They look very nice, try giving them a faint black wash, to give them shading and to increase the worn affect, it will really improve them, and its an easy thing to do :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

djkest Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 I'd just like to echo the previous posts, you need a dark wash to give some shadows to the model. Otherwise, it looks like 1 solid color pretty much. Also, the weathered look is good, except it may be harder to see from a foot away.
