Exactly what pattern or model fighter did the Imperial Army or Astartes use in the Great Crusade? I can find little information on it. I was thinking Thunderbolts, but I doubt they date back that long ago. I guess the Lightnings were Post-Heresy. Reason being is I have a Chaos Fighter Squadron in Xana II series and was wondering what these heretical pilots were flying before the Heresy.
