JEFF4i
Bulveye: Wolf Lord (Captain essentially) of the Space Wolves. A very thoughtful wolf who seeks to help humanity rather than butcher it. Incredible prowess vs Dark Eldar as in, Tales of Heresy, and most notably...still alive! Yes, the old Wolf is still alive fighting in the Eye as part of the Space Wolves' 13th Company. Erebus: First Chaplain of the Word Bearers. Master manipulator and highly contributing to the entire Heresy. Very clever. He wore tattoes on his head of the Book of Lorgar to intimidate foes. My vote is obvious, Bulveye butchers the loud-mouth dbag. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/ Share on other sites
GrantDaKiller
Well they are both still alive. But im going fot Erebus because he just seems to be the better skilled being the first chaplain. That's ridonkulous, lol. Better skilled? He's good at being preachy, but there is absolutely no mention of his fighting prowess. He's the preachiest of a preachy legion, I'm sure he's formidable...but this is Bulveye! Ju'kosian
Maybe Erebus has some daemonsummoning trick up his sleeve.. But my vote goes toe the Space wolfe... csblackhawk
Erebus, he wouldn't need to fight, if he ca manipulate and turn horus, a primarch he'll find it easy to play a feral puppet like Bulveye Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/#findComment-1961672 Share on other sites
Chaplain ChonkE
Erebus is formidable, but Bulveye is the Axe Man of Russ, leader of the 13th and takes long walks on Daemon Planets in Warp for laughs and giggles. And while I love/hate the First Chappy, he would get cut to pieces by Bulveye. Infrared
... there is absolutely no mention of his fighting prowess. Sure there is. He defeated a couple (?) of the Lunar Wolves captains in cage duels, and fought a long and tight match against Lucius of the Emperors Children who eventually beat him. The chaplain was described as an amazing fighter. He'd still get butchered, ;) C'mon, we know Bulveye is resistant to Chaos, he'd been in the Eye for 10,000 years and is still fighting the good fight. Dark Disciple
Erebus hands down, he's a more skilled fighter with the powers of the warp behind him. Plus he has lots of rolled up news paper to scare off Bulvye ;) Disciple Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/#findComment-1961729 Share on other sites

Mr. Bleak
Bulveye hands down- 1, he's a Space Wolf. 2, as everybody says, he's been in the Eye for millenia and I think he's tough enough to take down one human after killing all those daemons  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/#findComment-1961816 Share on other sites

marshal seanisi
These Battles are not that hard to decide if you read the GW fluff and not base your decision on personal feelings as we all do. :) Bulveye hands down...He's been in the eye of terror for 10,000 years!!!!! and still kicking A** Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/#findComment-1961935 Share on other sites
Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
Bulveye gets my vote. i see erebus as more of a manipulator, and while he did defeat a few lunar wolves captains in duels, and started the corruption of Horus (i dont give him full credit as the davinites themselves sealed the deal), bulveye has all the awesomness of a normla space wolf lord, and the added power of the wulfen (more savage, brutal) to fall back on if skill of arms alone doesnt defeat the preacher. Rain
Why do you assume Bulveye is still alive? Does it actually mention him still being alive or are you just guessing that all of Russ's wolf guard is still around? Hmm it's a really close one as Erebus was described as an extremely fast and tough fighter, plus he would be the kind to bring some kind of demonic weapon or other unbalancing factor into a fight, I'm going to have to differ with most of you and say Erebus. Sons of Horus
i'd love to say erebus but then i think i'm gonna have to go with bulveye. i mean he's hard as nails, he survived becoming an astartes as an adult and he massacred an untold number of dark eldar too. he's serious stuff (although erebus is serious stuff too). vote Bulveye. Chaplain ChonkE
Yeah, I think this has been the toughest choice out of all the ones so far. Erebus is just hard as nails, a demagogue, schemer, and certainly more than competent; probably one of the finest warriors around. Bulveye is hard as nails, a huscarl, schemer and more than competent. They are both still around in the 40k timeline doing their thing. Argh! Dark Apostle vs Lord of a Great Company? ARGH!!!! I like both Chapters too B) I just think Bulveye would be the victor, as he and his crew survive in the Eye of Terror doing whatever it is they do. Both live in the Warp but Erebus is a welcome guest of the Warp and a master in the Flesh Halls of Sicarus (haha sounds cool) while the Lord of the 13th and his man assert mastery over the hostile (understatement) denziens of the Warp. edit: Besides, you know Bulveye would bring an Assault Cannon and a Frost Axe with TDA and some charms/pelts :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/#findComment-1962244 Share on other sites
Terrible_Trygon
Erebus, because he would likely manipulate some horrible turn of events in which Bulveye is killed by plague demons before the battle even started. Hyperion
Bulveye - and that would be one fight I'd love to see - the Wolf chopping that scheming *bleep* into tiny chunks. <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/166569-horus-heresy-battle-royale-week-13/#findComment-1962417 Share on other sites
Durfast Spiritwolf
Bulveye, because he is: One of Russ's original wolfborthers One of only 33% of the wolfbrothers who survived the process of becoming a Space Wolf as an adult - no other Legion even tried to do that and the IV did only because the wolfbrothers demanded it. Leader if said 33% Lead the assault on Prospero with his Great Company (including the bulk of the Wulfen who aren't exactly house trained) Fights off the Curse for 10,000 years - now there is willpower Fights chaos in all in forms on their home ground in the Eye of Chaos for same period of time - without ale! Erebus has had ten millennia to turn him, manipulate him or whatever and..nothing...not a sausage...Bulveye has been seeing off said demons, traitor marines, cultists happily up until now.
